  • No caffeine, alcohol, or nicotine 12 hours prior

  • Avoid vigorous exercise 24 hours prior

  • Dress comfortably—no special attire required

Before Your RMR Test

  • Avoid food for at least 8 hours

  • No caffeine, alcohol, or stimulants 12 hours before

  • No strenuous activity for 24 hours
